I'm typically underwhelmed with any sea food place though, because I don't really care for it. like the commercials, laced with all kinds of adjectives to make the sea food more appealing. The service was outstanding nothing wrong with that, very happy. However, it's kind of fallen of that mark for me, seems a bit more jank than I remember. I seem to remember Red Lobster being a pretty nice place to go. When you put out $85 (after tip) on a meal you just kind of expect more.or at least to be full, but neither happened this trip. When the server brought my dessert she added a second spoon and said "here guys happy Anniversary" as if this was a gift to us.I was fine sharing with my husband, but this was actually part of the meal.not a "bonus" as she made it seem. We both ordered drinks from the bar and neither of us finished even half, as they were just not good either, I kind thought our server would notice and ask if we wanted to order something different, since they are $8.00 drinks that we were clearly not drinking, but no. My husband ordered lobster and shrimp, the lobster was so overcooked that he had to pry it from the shell. It had very little flavor and was just not good overall. I ate a few bites from the edges but chose not to send it back since it took a very long time to get it in the first place. I ordered med/well (asking for only a hint of pink) and it came with blood on the plate and into my potatoes. I had the 4 course meal, salad and soup were very good, but I was made VERY aware this was not a steakhouse when my dinner came. check on is a couple times, but we actually got more attention from the server in the next section (checking on us, refilling water, holding conversation). The restaurant was clean, and not busy at all, the server was nice and did. We don't go to Red Lobster often since I'm not a seafood eater, but I took one for the team and offered to go with my husband for our Anniversary. One last thing.if you are going to serve calamari, please don't serve ranch or marinara sauce, try a garlic-lemon Aioli, a creamy Chipotle, or a spicy mayo with cocktail y somethings out!!!! More It wasn't the worst experience, just an unsatisfied experience. Listen I get it some days are worse than others, but I work hard to go out and have a pleasurable experience, if I just want to eat dinner, I can do that at home. The scampi was good! We don't see our waiter again until its time to pay the bill, we had to ask another wait staff for napkins. The food comes out and it doesn't look anywhere near like the pictures, stuff is dried up and just not appealing at all. We get drinks, no straws.apps come out and we give our order. Next we are seated and our waiter was a young man that was courteous, he got our drink order and it took probably 5 mins for that to happen, I get it they were slammed, but remember its time to hustle, and with the little computer things at every table, REd Lobster should make them usable in the sense we can order drinks and s set up to pay right? Then it can be setup to take drink and appetizer orders. What they can control is the hustle, we saw tables that were empty but not cleaned, why? When you have folks waiting 25 minutes everybody has to turn their game up. Upon arriving it was a 25 minute wait, which happens and its understandably. I will start at the top and work my way through the evening, I was with a party of 4, we went because one of the 4 wanted red lobster really bad.
